A beautiful painting Pam and your poem has perfect words to accompany it. There is much going on in our gardens we have yet to understand, poignant words here, much enjoyed, love Dolly x

I'm not sure which I love more, your painting or your poem. I do love when people bring things like this to my attention, especially when it is done in such nice poetic format. Had I read this in a textbook it probably wouldn't have sunk in!

Very interesting "twist" to this poem. LOL. That is so innovatively informative of you to share this with us. Who would have thought that scenario? Good one.

Of course, the artwork is GOOD! But, your verse ably reinforces the imagery you wrote about.
Your 'twist' is a great ending for your Tanka posting.

I love the painting, but am somewhat resentful that you not only wrote the fun verse but created the perfect picture to accompany it!!
Interesting fact, skillfully presented :)

Cute - I like the feeling the dancing has been going on for centuries. An interesting take on the subject. And some of those seeds, apparently, last for years.

This tanka, Garden Arenas, looks good and finds that our tripping in the light fantastic have come from the prances of the mantises. Who knew?

There are so many things I do not know, it seems if all knowledge was an orange, my share would be an infinitesimal slice of it, heh heh, hi Pam good to see you again with an excellent tanka, and you super painting in tow. Well done,

"Tanka (garden arenas)", is short, succinct and very much to the point.
With a minimum of words, this talented poet has told it as it is. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Hi Pam. This is a very nicely composed tanka and your painting is wonderful, too. I guess many things have been around for a long time and we like to think we are the originators of them. Marilyn
