The message of your poem is what really stood out to me, even more than the beautifully written poem. The artwork drew me in, but the message just grabbed me.
Love the video at the end.
So inspiring,
Thanks for sharing,
Rhonda

I enjoyed your lovely nonet. So meaningful. Creative writing in simple words. The purpose of life is to live well, love and be happy to oneself and spread happiness all around with richer experience as time goes by. Good luck in the contest!

'Carpe Diem', is an extremely well-written and deftly descriptive piece. Penned with craft and skill, this talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. I look forward to seeing your next post.

Well done! I also wrote something about the speed of time going past - but yours is so much better. I really like the image of the train hastening to death but you have chosen to hold out your faith - for life. Very positive. Well written. A good entry for the Nonet contest.

Your nonet poem is great, Sally. I enjoyed reading it. Great job with the syllable count per line, the smooth flow, the perfect image, and the clear message to all. I agree with you about getting aboard the train of life.
Best wishes.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Sal.
In your first line you refer to time as a gift. It is one we are all given, We experience it here because it is worthless in eternity. Your metaphor of the train coming and going is an interesting comparison.
People that seize the day understand we only have one day and it is the one we are living in.
Good luck in the contest.

Doggone it, Sally:
I keep meaning to join you in the nonet for nine thing, but it keeps slipping up on me. I need to write a couple and keep them in a file until the ninth rolls around again, and then just pull one out and share it. Good luck in the contest.

You can join in at any time and that you dare feel bad. You've had a most difficult year I know. I'm so glad you enjoyed this and you join in on any ninth day. This is an open ended contest with no prize and all you need is the motivation to learn how to compose a Nonet. Sending love my very best as always, Sally XOs....

i tried to seize the day today, Sally, but I just couldn't seem to get the engine going... Your poem should have been the perfect motivation... I'll try again tomorrow. Smiles, Carol

-Nice image and
presentation, Sal.
-A well written nonet
with effective imagery,
like "the gift of time"
and "the engine's power."
-Good use of the theme
of seizing the day, and
concluding lines to go with it.
-Well done!

Your Nonet, dear Sally was beautifully composed, and captured the mood of the moment where changes are occurring so fast that many of us don't seem to catch up. Faith and determination would win the day. The video was equally very motivating. Very interesting read! Good luck in the contest.
