This is a fine 5-7-5 poem and entry for the contest
An unusual pet for the contest, likely the only wolf poem
to be entered. The call of the wild is inbred
and likely pulled him away.

Interesting poem. Most animals like to belong in a pack. Some like the wolf are feared by many. Good luck in the contest. If it were not for the wolf we would have dogs.

Wolves are my favorite animal, at least you'd think so by all the pictures, carvings and statues that are around my house. I live where wolves are nearby but you rarely see them. They kill only to live or to protect and I admire that. Good luck in the contest.
