You did a remarkable job on this Diatelle poem with its complicated syllable count. You made the message make sense. As a former musician, I enjoyed envisioning the sounds made by each instrument mentioned. Your poem Zings. Best wishes in the contest.

I loved how you lead us into the music. Each instrument another piece to the puzzle. The evocative descriptions of each sound. Each unique but melding together. Quite lovely. Thank you for posting. Gretchen

Wow! This is super! I love the music and how you display the words centered so all can read how you have mastered the diatelle poem! You have described the richness of the different instruments so well! I am a music lover and love to hear the sympathy in all its wonder! Thank you for sharing this lovely piece with the rest of us here on FS!

Thanks buddy!

This poem is sheer brilliance and something a lifelong musician like me could really appreciate. Your use of imagery and words to evoke the auditory senses is masterful. You've stuck to the brief perfectly and honestly produced something both literally and visually spectacular. All the best with the contest. Hope you win.

I really enjoyed your poem! The author's words are engaging, descriptive
and creative. The author describes these instruments well. I wanted to
be there as the author describes these vibrations! My son is a musician, many times in orchestras so I pictured these instruments! The artwork is awesome and compliments this poem well. Have a great week!...Maria

I would have given this a six if I had one left. I am not too familiar with diatelles at all, but it looks like you did an excellent job with the form. Very nice sense of sound here. I love poems about music.

Crystie I love your kind words, thanks!

I love the way the form builds and then dissipates, like a thought incepted, analysed, and then allowed to drift. This works well with your musical theme, as a tune builds and then concludes in a natural rhythm. I very much enjoyed.
