This is a very well written poem about some of your favorite things. I can relate to some of those things too my friend. I love to look at Panda Bears and eat oranges. You used great descriptive words and very nice imagery from the art work you chose. Best wishes in the contest. Blessings, Teri

"Redux on Favorite Things" uses the scansion (and, if you'd like, the melody) to the great Julie Andrews song from "Mary Poppins." In this version the author simply substitutes his or her favorite things for the items in the song, and the choices are apt. There are a few places where the rhythm could be more closely lined up with the original, but overall this is an excellent refitting.

This list of favourite things doesn't quite have the romantic cachet of The Sound of Music original, but it's a darn sight more honest. One or two of the things in your compilation gave me a chuckle.
As far as I remember the original, you seem to have stuck to the rhythm and rhyme scheme remarkably well.
