This is a poignant story. I like how you recognized healing was taking place. Means you were conscious as Eckhart Tolle would say. What a blessing for you to take in all the goodness and realize what was happening in your relationship with your grand daughter. This is s tribute to her for her giftedness.

Life happens as we make plans that are paper thin! My oldest granddaughter is named Jessica and she and I have a special bond. Indeed, I have a special and different bond with each of my five grandchildren. I think that is the way it works??
