Wow! I so love how you preach doing good, about love, and the scriptures through your poems. Certainly, fame isn't something we should chase. If we lead good lives and be the best we can be with our individual professions, and love and respect each other equally, if it is our fate, fame will follow. Lovely piece.

Nicely written. You chose wisely and picked a better route than fame. Fame isn't all it is cracked up to be. I think it hardly every leads to true happiness and so many famous people chose to end their own life.

Hello, Roy,
Physical possessions are not as important as love is, love for family, friends, and God. It's important to follow divine path. It's important to help and love one another. I can't say I love everybody bot I strive to better myself everyday. I'm a work in progress.

as well as the repeating lines in the opening and closing.
-You raise a good question in the opening lines,
and show how you didn't want to flaunt your
pride in order to gain fame,

our spiritual connectedness. This poem and many others written by you must fulfill some of the hunger to bathe in fame. Although Christ did not seek fame. He did have the divine conviction that his message would sprout all over. I have high admiration for your ability to

I love this poem. I used too aspire to be a prolific writer of bestselling novels and screen plays. Then I found fanstory. While I leaned I do have talent, many others here are just as good or better scribes than I. This is where I belong. I don't mind anymore that I'll never be really famous, I lead a quiet life, and I only need to reach out here for friendship.
Age and God mellow people. Ands humbles us.
Your poem is inspirational in that it makes the reader want to draw closer to Christ.

While I leaned I do have talent, many others here are just as good or better scribes than I. This is where I belong. I don't mind anymore that I'll never be really famous, I lead a quiet life, and I only need to reach out here for friendship.

If you would follow and hope to please your creator. You would and should seek to follow their example. No two individuals have ever displayed more humility that God and his son Jesus the Christ. In conversations with Abraham where he allowed Abraham to argue for the lives of the wicked men of Sodom and Gomorrah; when Jesus did not call for the destruction of the wicked Jewish religious leaders who mocked and abused him. I cannot think of many humans on earth now or ever who would not have called down destruction on all who opposed them, without further thought or reflection.
