Great pairing of humorous photo and poem, which is in excellent 5/7/5 syllable count
I like the alliteration in cunning cat/crying
and the use of smash as a strong action verb

ahah funny picture and very appropriate for this prompt. Not sure if in reality the dog would go away crying, though :)
Very entertaining and well developed using the right syllable count.

Hello Anupam,
I relate to this piece extremely, having owned a ninja cat myself. She absolutely hated dogs and would attack at a drop of a hat. I love the cool, collected expression on the cats face,..."like shooting fish in a barrel." Lol. Nice job, Bill

Hello Anupam, I'm well, thanks for asking. My knee is doing as well as it can. To tell you the truth, I'm enjoying my reprieve. I really wasn't quite prepared around my house to be down that long. Things are coming together now,...I hope you have a wonerful weekend, Bill

This is a good 5-7-5 poem about a cat for the writing prompt. It is the correct syllable count. Good luck in the contest.~Teresa~

Now that is a fast cat..... aren't they hilarious..... He really is getting after that huge dog with absolute glee. Your sylable count, subject and execution of the 5-7-5 is superb. Good luck, Carolyn

This is excellent. Most people are unaware that a cat can do considerable damage to a dog...most dogs don't know it either. Great entry for this contest and I wish you all the best.

Good use of assonance in,'cunning Ninja'. Like the juxtaposition of the cunning cat and the innocent dog.. The accompanying illustration is hilarious.

cunning Ninja cat
smashes dog's innocent face
He goes home crying

Perfect syllable count of 5-7-5 makes this a god entry to the 5-7-5 about a cat writing prompt entry
Good luck in the contest
