This 5-7-5 strikes home. I write about this subject, also, because for me, it's always on my mind. Most nights I retire with a list of tomorrows goals tucked positively in a safe place. But, in the morning when I rise, my negative side is at hand to remind me of my inadequacies and the fact that I probably won't achieve most of my goals, anyway. So, when I put myself in motion, and attack my list...I win! I could go on about this subject for hours, as I'm sure you can relate. I'll leave you with this... This one speaks "Gemini" to me. LOL I love this five/seve/five my friend, and it has an amazing presentation. You capture the ying and yang of human conflict quite nicely with this one, and with so few words you call attention to the duality of life. This should do very well in the contest.

I guess this fact does not just apply to geminis? I like the yin and yang overtones... There can't be one without the other, and "collisions" can't be avoided. This could have so many implications: the light & dark in each person, multiple personalities/ the astrological sign of the twins. It's classic and timeless things like these that give simplistic haiku's like yours true staying power. Thank you for sharing and good luck with the contest.
