Jesse James Doty: I have a request for all those on Fanstory. If you are going to play music when I click on your post, would you please put the words, 'Music embedded' in the line above your title? I would greatly appreciate your thoughtfulness and courtesy. My reason is simple. I live in an apartment building and I do not want to disturb my neighbors while they sleep since I read and review most of the time in the early morning hours. Thank you so much for your time and consideration. Jesse |

Jesse James Doty: I fell -- Broke my neck -- ER Surgery. Have been recuperating in a hospital and then a nursing home. 4 months later, I arrive back home and am slowly adjusting to my new life. Please bear with me and understand that although I am behind in participating, it still feels good to know that you are there waiting for me... Jesse |

I am so pleased to know you are home and becoming stronger every day! Sending positive energy and healing thoughts your way! diane -
The rhyming above was NOT intentional! But the positive energy and healing thoughts are! :) -

My husband broke his neck c6/c7 27 years ago and is paralysed from the chest down. If any advice can be shared, it's to say live normally and just make allowances for the condition, rather than have it be the top priority in life. :) -

Jesse James Doty: I'm sorry. Although my eyes are improving, I still need lots of rest for my eyes, in between small stints on Fan Story. I hope you will have patience with me. Thanks, again for your special thoughts and wishes. Jesse |

And, thanks, Irish Rain and mrsmajor. I appreciate the caring advice from all of you. Giving me the time I need, will help ease my stress and ease my eyes, as well. -

Jesse James Doty: This is a brief note for those who care about me. My eyes are compromised due to their muscle spasms. They hurt and my sight is dimmer. The doctor said it is stress-related, so I am working on ways to lower my stress level. I will keep you posted on my progress. Jesse |

Jesse James Doty: I found this quote that I can relate to, "I want people to react to my work, to think, to question, to challenge, to cry and laugh and feel."----John Lanyon |

Jesse James Doty: Two of my favorite sayings are "Encourage diversity" and "Challenge authority." I want to thank all of you for responding so positive to my poem which is on a subject so controversial as homelessness. |

Jesse James Doty: I am having fun and learning from writing and reviewing poetry. The reviewers are so kind with their suggestions for improvement, so I don't feel defensive at all. Thanks, FanStory. |

Jesse James Doty: I found this quote that I really like so I wanted to share it. "Dance above the surface of the world. Let your thoughts lift you into creativity that is not hampered by opinion."--- by Red Haircrow |
