Keep writing everyday . . . even if it is only a sentence or two, if you are sincere about getting published.

Nobody said it would be easy. : )

Bob is currently working on his fourth Cleve Hawkins mystery, called "The Deceivers." to tentatively be released in the spring vof 2021.

His third novel, "Shadows of Sin" was released in January of 2020. It is the third in his Cleve Hawkins detective series.

His other novel, titled "Falling Up The Stairs," was released on September 20, 2018. Unlike his usual fare of Cleve Hawkins detective thrillers this one is a family saga. The possibility of this becoming a screenplay is very possible. People are working to make that a reality.

Under the pen name R. C. Hartson, Bob's first novel "Fatal Beauty" was published and released on February 26, 2015. It was posted right here on Fanstory 2013-2014. His second Cleve Hawkins novel in the series, titled "Triple Crossed, was released on June 2, 2016.

Bob is a dedicated father and grandfather. A retired U.S. Marine, he has written three novels and is working on a fourth.....another Cleve Hawkins mystery, thriller.

Through the years Bob has learned a writer should write something...anything....every single day. Even if it's just a paragraph! Also, here is the bad news for the people who still want to write but don't like to read...You are not going to make it. A successful writer MUST read, also.

He has won numerous writing contests for his short stories and poetry. Some actually paid money! Fanstory writers, I am by no means an expert, however a word of advice, if I may,:..... Please never be discouraged. Leaving the writing scene is a crime for many potentially great poets and authors. Keep on writing!
