Write a haiku on the subject of a river.
17 syllables OR LESS
(Does NOT have to be 5-7-5 syllables)
3 lines (short/long/short)
Present tense
Two grammatically interconnected lines of concrete imagery in lines 1 and 2 or 2 and 3 and a satori (moment of insight) in lines 3 or 1
PLEASE ADHERE TO THE INTERCONNECTED LINES RULES. I DON'T WANT TO SEE THREE SEPARATE LINES.
No caps (except proper names, etc.)
Minimal punctuation
NO personification (attributing human qualities to animal or object)
