Poetry Contest
Take any popular song and rewrite the lyrics to it. You may be funny, serious, insane, or dull if you want to appeal to dullards. The key to a good parody is to write new lyrics that match the rhythm of the original lyrics so that it's easy to sing the new lyrics to the original music. You can use any song you want, but, keep in mind, people are going to vote for songs they can easily sing along with and identify. It's wise to choose something folks will be familiar with. It is your choice though. Present anyway you wish. If you have the talent to sing your new song ... go for it.
