Some people are affected by Seasonal Affective Disorder, when they experience a lack of sunshine in their lives, leading to sometimes quite serious depression. The sun has restorative and healing properties which we all enjoy.
During and after disasters, people are ready to give up in despair �????�???�??�?�¢?? but when the sun returns, people feel they can gradually move towards rebuilding or restoration, with the prospect of a new start.
