Children's humorous poem.

Fartina

by Regina Elliott

This children's poem is not the more
traditional poetic fare,
as my humor tends to actually scare,
our dear dog, Fartina,
lovely as a pink tutu ballerina,
yet, her name makes you say,
"That's no ordinary pooch in any way."

Her poots have no sound,
but, trust me, you'll detect she's around,
you'll bolt when you hear her rumbling
tum-tum,
as debilitating flatulence emits from
her bum,
you really don't want to be in a room
with her,
in fact, you'd scold the little cur,
when salespeople come to the door,
well, one way to be rid of them,
for sure,
just when the salesman thinks a
sale is indeed,
pretend Fartina is a classy mixed
breed,
when he pets her, green clouds rise,
as his face scrunches up in surprise!

She has her own waiting room at
the vet,
because her gaseous emissions
fallout are the worst yet,
so, if you need to give your
obnoxious in-laws the boot,
Give Fartina a burrito, they'll
run away through the walls,
the old coots!

Life is such a joy with Fartina in
our lives,
we get rid of wasps, because
she cropdusts their hives!
when that mean bully chased
you down your street,
his unexpected encounter with
Fartina sent him fleeing and
nauseous in defeat!

Thank you, dear Fartina,
you're a gassy dog, it's true,
but we sure really love you. ~
