Calm flowing words, I'm creating a scene
Scene in my mind, it's then spoken aloud
Aloud, sounding words that slip from my tongue
Tongue and lips speaking, with feelings endowed.

Endowed with emotion, my spirits dwell
Dwell with the stars on the brink of dark space
Space deep with silence and diamonds that gleam
Gleam of souls' eyes, they're a signal of grace.

Grace shining on me, in moonbeams I'm bathed
Bathed in your glory through difficult times
Times of deep sadness when I am held back.
Back on track now as dawn's rosiness climbs.

Climbs and sheds light to rekindle my hope
Hope that through darkness there is always light
Light on the pathway and light on my feet
Feet that will follow safe passage each plight.

Plight of dark sorrows, but no load's too much
Much of our madness is self-made to harm
Harm to ourselves and to others as well
Well, I will say: Love Your God and Keep Calm.
