A chapter in the book Thirty (hopefully) Poems for April
Closing The Book
by Debra White
Eight days overdue
but I got there in the end.
April came and went,
days of May I had to lend.
Chapters now complete,
though it’s been a bumpy ride -
NaPoWriMo’s done!
I can close this book with pride.
