When Down...Remember

Whenever you feel lonely and sad,
causing your world to seem cold and mad,
Remember that you are not alone!
There are others who will soothe your groan.

When you feel bone-tired and utterly drained
While your mind is stressed and your spirit strained.
Gain control; allow yourself to take a break.
Lean on me; it's okay. I can bake that cake.

When your sunrays feel dull, and clouds are low
and your hearty spirit has lost its warm glow,
Know that it just takes a spark to light a fire
You are the light for others whom you inspire.

You, my friend, are a unique and precious soul!
You have a life purpose and have set great goals.
You are a part of this magic universe.
You have many gifts that you need to disperse.

So, my appeal! Don't give up, and don't despair!
Know that you have both strength and selfless flair.
Feel that you have much love and great support,
You have the power you sensibly comport.

You are not lonely or tired, nor are you dull!
You are truly superb and quite wonderful.
Your rare gifts are not a drop in the ocean …
Your being you is the ocean in a drop.
