Writer's block on looping

The Contest

Fair time for this contest: a loop poem, they say
Say what? A loop? I would rather a square
Square a root, root of all evil, evil twin
Twin circles are infinity, a loop's surely there

There are no corners, no points, no angles, no end
End to end join, encircle nothing but air
Air my grievance, this contest, impossible to do
Do my best loop-de-looping. I've lost, it's not fair!
