The sin of Adam and Eve

Forbidden Fruit

Fragrant promise
Offering wisdom, rendered a
Regrettable decision.
Bitten by curiosity they lost our
Immortality because they were
Dazzled by the Devil and then
Denied to God their broken trust
Ejected from Paradise, the result of lies
Notorious snake was pleased.
 
 
Fraudulent behavior resulted in
Repugnant consequence and
Unpleasant hardships
Ill-gotten result is the
Tainting of our souls
