facts vs. opinions
The Newses Confuses
There is only one version of Truth
Anything contrary is a lie
But there are flavors of all untruths
Each distasteful and all venomous
In the parlor they all come and go
watching the news channels they prefer
To assist in forming decisions
They do assert their own opinions
Opinions which do shape viewers’ minds
Closing them to know Truth, or to search
For there are flavors of all untruths
Each distasteful and all venomous
On and on TV news will teach them
To look and hear but not ever think
Assisting in forming decisions
As they assert their own opinions
