Watching Hummingbirds
by patcelaw
It was a perfect spring day in 1991 as my husband and I were sitting on the patio watching the hummingbirds at the hummingbird feeder. It was always a delight to see those little birds as they flew around. As we were sitting there with my husband wearing a red baseball cap, and me seated about 3 feet away from him a little hummingbird came right up to the bill of his cap. This little bird hovered there for at least a minute.
Having no camera the scene was only captured in my mind, to remain as a memory forever.
