Time taps on my door,
"Late again?" it smirks at me,
clock hands point and laugh.

Writing Prompt
Write a humorous 5-7-5. It must have 3 lines. The first line has 5 syllables, second line has 7 syllables and the third line has 5 syllables, ending with 17 total syllables. No other rules apply. Have fun and make your readers laugh.

A Bermudian saying:-

BERMUDA TIME
noun /bur-myoo-dah tahym/

1. Late, as usual, being late for an event.
2. At least 20 to 30 minutes late
3. Arriving fashionably late


"De movie vas sposeto start at sebenaclock, dey mus be runnin on Bermuda Time"

Translation - "The movie was supposed to start at 7:00pm, they must be runnin' on Bermuda Time."
