A little girl meddles in her parents things

Oops, I think I'm in trouble now.

by BethShelby

I am bored. I've been playing with my Barbies, and now, I need something else to do. I want to make something. Maybe I can find something somewhere to make something with. I think I'll look through Mommy and Daddy's things. Maybe there will be something in the drawer to this nightstand, I can use. There are all sorts of things in here. Here are some magazines, but they don't have many interesting pictures. Here is a box with a lock on it but it isn't locked. I wonder what is in here.

Oh look!  Here are some little gold packages. I wonder what's in them. There's a  bunch of them. If I opened one, they probably wouldn't miss it. It is hard to tear it open, but here's a pair of scissors. I'll just cut here. Oh, this is a funny thing. It looks like it's made out of rubber, sorter like the gloves Mommy wears in the kitchen when she doesn't want her hands to get dirty. It is long and skinny. I wonder what it is for. It must be some kind of balloon.  I know what I could do with it. If I cut off one end, I could make a raincoat for my Barbie.

I wonder if I should ask Mommy. Maybe that wouldn't be such a great idea. I'll just take it. Uh,oh! Somebody's coming.

"
Mommie, Why are you looking at me like that? I didn't do anything.
Please don't yell at me! I just wanted one of these to make my Barbie a raincoat."
