My Judo Lesson




Go with your brothers
my father and mother said to me,
they will look after you
even though you will be thrown around the soft mat,
all dressed in white,
be prepared to put up a fight,
a trophy you may win for beating the opposition
in a Judo fight.

After a time you will see
another color to your belt,
your honor will be felt,
the ability to achieve what you have learnt to believe
while learning the art of Judo.
