A child growing up without love
Three little words were never said.
by Jackarrie
You never said those three little words The three words I longed to hear, was never to be said, that was clear. You never listened to what I had to say, you then would yell " go outside and play". It was cold outside, nobody out playing, no soles on my shoes, clothes all fraying. Kids can be cruel with names they call After a while, I got used to it all Birthdays came and birthdays went, not even a single penny was spent I had to get used to it that was clear Those three words I did long to hear My heart was sad, my need was strong, my mind knew, this had to be wrong All I wanted to hear was" I love you" those three words never said by you. |
