Time Halts

by TAB_that's me

Time halts in tragedy
delayed in death
the little world in which we thrive
stands still in time
hours, days, weeks or more
pass by our eyes
unnoticed
'til you wake one day
to realize
the world on axis spun
while we stood still
and it left us behind
