Frozen Dream Song

by The Death

Today, I stand frozen,
amid dark solitude.
Voids slowly engulf me and
choke vicissitude .
My shadow is hiding like light in a
moonless night.
I tried my best...but couldn't always
be right.

I won't give up,
I will break free.
Now, I will crave for just being me.
No more masks,
only real show.
Well, now I'll glow!

I will rise, I will shine.
Won't shed anymore time here.

I will rise, I will shine.
Every fall I'll have to bear.
No need to worry 'bout any kind of dread.
Though darkness may grow--
My dreams will never be found dead.

The journey left is quite long
and vast is the night-sky.
Inner despair is dying, it's the
time for me to fly.

With all my power, I will take flight
to conquer odds with renewed might.
Now nothing can affect my spree--
You'll see!

I will rise, I will shine.
I have silver-moon by my side.
I will rise, I will shine.
Through stars my wishes will glide.
Once I was lost,
now fully awake--
Though darkness may grow.

My dreams are no more latent, but finding their
voice.
To  melt the  icicle-life and never fear is my new
choice.
Perfection is not the thing I require anymore--
I will live for happiness, as life is an open door.

I will rise, I will shine,
With time everything gets fine.
I will rise, I will shine.
The whole world will be mine.
Once I was lost,
now dawn will break for me.
Though darkness may grow--

My dreams will never be found dead!

This is my biographical version of the song "Let it go" by Idina Menzel from the Disney movie "Frozen".

I was listening to this song yesterday night after writing this poem in another style. But this amazing song overcame my thoughts and started writing according to its molodies. I have changed the beats at some places, yet one can sing-along this on tunes of the original soundtrack.

If you haven't heard this one, I request you have a look at it. It's truly amazing and inspirational:

This would be more enjoyable if you watch the video first, and then read/sing this--else it's just a poem. :)

The image is from the movie itself.
