Bed of Roses

She lays upon a bed of roses.
Her beauty is clear to see. Alabastar skin, full red lips and eyes of polished jade. A shock of golden hair streams out in all directions, as if her head framed by a setting sun. In her repose, she cups her perfect breasts with each small hand, eyes closed, naked, and lost in sweet slumber.
She is perfect, and she is mine. I smile, wanting to remember this moment forever, because moments pass away so quickly.
It is beautiful this time of year outdoors, but it does not compare to my lover's beauty. In the stillness of the twilight, the forest feels alive. Shocked by our recent, frantic love making; the cries of passion silenced the indigenous creatures.
And now the contented peace following the purest of love's acts.
A perfect moment in time and space, captured in my mind's eye for eternity.

I leave her now, forever young.
