The Breakfast Trap

My wife cooked breakfast this morning;

it was delightful and tasty.

Scrambled eggs and ham in a pan,

with toast that was closer to pastry.


Completely absorbed in this feasting,

I finished and hinted for more.

She told me I could eat at the diner,

after taking her out to the stores.
