How many falling stars have you seen in your lifetime?

Falling Jewels

by JLR

Jewels shine brightly,
stars beaming nightly.
Beads tarnish, turn dull.
stars from sky fall.
Golden ring gleams,
moonstone beams.
Diamonds
Sapphire
Topaz
Pearl
each
one
shine
glow
gleam
flare
But the stars that fall go dark.
