I Will Walk a Million Miles to Be With You
I would walk a million miles
Just to be by your side
I would run madly though the wild woods
That divide the realms
And travel distant realms
Through all the known worlds
And the unknown worlds as well
Through the enchanted forest
Through the land of Oz
Through the lands of Narnia
Wonderland
Neverland
Ancient Egypt
Imperial Rome
India and China
Mars, Venus and the stars themselves
And the mountains of Madness
That await us all at the end of the universe
I would cross-ragging torrents
Climb the highest peak
Cross the river of no return
Travel through the dark underworld
Fighting every demon in Hades
Descend into the very pits of hell
Climb Mt Olympus
And challenge Zeus to a Duel
Just to please you my love
I would brave the challenges of life and death
Overcome all adversaries
And fight my ungainly fate
While smiling
Thinking of you by my side
I would brave the wildest storms
Suffer the greatest privations
Calm the raging storms with in me
The though of you grows day by ever lasting day
The though grows like a delightful flower
Alone in a savage uncaring universe
That hates flower and worships robots
I would stand at the end of the universe
And stare into the pits of insanity
Travel to the end of time
And the land beyond time itself
The though of you fills my soul
And fills my mind
With bittersweet memories
Of me and my fanciful notions
For now, a smile
And a simple kiss will suffice
Until the end of time
Ends the curse of our timeless love
