It’s true, I’d never heard of you before. A name like yours prevented me accepting that you were not dreamt up by fantasists. You're not the creature I had been expecting.   A feathered, bovine beast would be absurd... It’s fact that you're a bonafide bird!     Author Notes I'm late starting NaPoWriMo this year, but I hope to catch up and write 30 poems in April. My intention was to use the prompt for day two from napowrimo.net. BUT, within the prompt, I came across the word 'cowbird', something I hadn't heard of before.
