Now and then you want to know  Know if we will always be  Be together; you and I  I say you are part of me  Me and you are like two trees  Trees whose roots are intertwined  Intertwined, our strength will keep Keep this thought inside your mind  Mind of wonder wanders still, Still seeks reassurance for, For what's to be of my love when  When you're grown, I'll love you more  More with every rising sun Sun will set, my love will grow  Grow beyond the stars and moon  Moon and back, I love you so  So, my child, rest your head Head to bed, kiss me goodnight  Goodnight, I love you, always will Will even more, come morning light  Recognized
