If we have our way, instead of God's way, we will find ourselves bound hand and foot by our lusts as we are dragged down to the very depths of Hell. It is not God's will that anyone would go to Hell. ( 2 Peter 3:9:The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." As this verse shows, God's Omnipotent hand is holding back the coming of Christ so that you can repent and believe the Gospel before that awful Day. How many times has God in mercy spared your sinful life so you would not have to spend eternity apart from Him? And how offensive to His holiness and goodness are your selfish, sinful ways which harm you and those you love? Wondrous love, Calvary love, has already paid your sin debt and provided you a new life,...if you but say "Yes" to Jesus today. It is God's will that you become a Christian today.Stop thinking you know anything "spiritual" apart from the Son of God, who speaks with the authority of Almighty God. In Christ alone is eternal security! Life is short; trust Him today, while you still can. Jesus, who died for your sins and rose again in a real body to prove His claims, said this: "And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day."John 6:40 Recognized Author Notes Jesus is truth. All other ways are mere conjectures of spiritually blind men. Only sin could blind the created from the wondrous love of their Creator. In infinite mercy, the Father gave His sinless Son to bear our crimes against Him. In receiving this truth, a spiritual transformation is begun within us. This is being "born-again". We actually become new people filled with God's Holy Spirit as we continue to believe. Our Father corrects and encourages our immature feet into the "paths of righteousness" for His name's sake. We have much to learn but we cannot begin without being born again first of all. See John 3
