~ Today ~ I thought of others... A weary soul is quite depressed A small child abused and lonely A loved one must be laid to rest... ~ Today ~ I thought of the homeless As it very well could be me - To help others would be nice I'm sure everyone will agree... ~Today ~ I asked God... To give peace...to a weary soul His mercy to an abused child Shelter to a homeless vet Their lives no longer to be defiled... ~ Today ~ I looked toward heaven God's creations a sheer delight - Clouds forming diverse shapes Moving swiftly out of sight... After looking towards Heaven - seeing God's work which gives me life ~Today ~ I asked God to...  Touch Heal & Deliver give peace to all ~ free from strife Knowing God as I do... There's no specific format or style, just penning the way I know how. My thoughts were on others who are going through difficult times. We must always bless others when we can. Words of encouragement, a love token and a gentle smile will give comfort to someone in need. The last two lines in my poem...taken from the song, "His Eye is on the Sparrow."
