The fabled tale of Camelot
tells of the love twixt Gwenivere and Lancelot.
After the two, having given into sin
caused the kingdom to crumble to dust;
for their was lost between both Arthur and Gwen
their shared bond of mutual trust,
as even Merlin's magic could not save
that which had been so wantonly betrayed.
The sword Excalibur broken apart:
just like what happened to each of their hearts;
for their chains of love just weren't all that strong.
Tis true together they never belonged.
Their skies became full of rainy days.
Clouds put their world in a darkened haze.
The royal decree to allow no tears
came to fall upon deafened ears.
Winter turned into one of discontent;
Spring, unnoticed, came and went.
In the season of their fall
their life became a Summer squall,
when the lovers, they were caught.
That is how it was or perhaps seen
in that legendary place once serene.
Learning from the lessons taught:
all upon them that was wrought,
let nothing e'er be forgot...
if ever was Camelot.
This time the story will not end
with the disenchantment between Arthur and Gwen;
for what started out as a fairytale
will by every means remain the same.
It shan't by Morgan's magic be dispelled.
No Lancelot will be to blame.
Our kingdom will not crumble into dust,
as neither of us shall succumb to lust.
The sword Excalibur returned to the lake;
for we shall not commit the same mistake,
cause the chains of our love are just too strong.
Tis together we shall always belong.
There will never be a cloudy day.
Rain shall positively keep away.
Our simple decree will allow no tears,
thus no need for worries or fears.
Winter is to be a thing of the past.
Spring year 'round will forever last.
As for the season of fall:
it shan't be considered at all.
The summers existing not.
That is shall ever be seen
in our legendary place, most serene.
Learning from the lessons taught:
all upon them that was wrought,
nothing will e'er be forgot...
if ever was Camelot.
