There seems a lot of needless agitation
surrounding this foretold cohonestation.
It's been two thousand years
and still no one appears—
perhaps it's just a case of time dilation?

Author Notes
Today's word: cohonestation (n.) the act of honouring with your company.
When a predicted event has been going to occur "any day now" for two thousand years, there's got to be an explanation. I wonder, did Einstein provide one?
My much-treasured Christmas present for 2017 is a book by Paul Anthony Jones: "The cabinet of linguistic curiosities". Each page contains a descriptive story about some obscure or archaic word. It occurred to me it would be a fun exercise to try and write, each day, a poem featuring the "word of the day" from the book.
Thanks for reading.
