For millennia and perhaps more,
Orphans and emperors alike,
Reflected upon life’s meaning:
The beginning and the twilight.
Yet, those minds reached no consensus,
Though there’s been much hullaballoo –
When asked ‘bout life and ev’rything
Of course, their answer’s forty-two!

Author Notes
In Douglas Adams' The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, a super intelligent race of beings builds a computer (called Deep Thought) to get an answer to the universe's ultimate question: "What is the meaning of life, the universe, and everything?" After seven and half million years of contemplation and calculation on the question, Deep Thought gives a very simple and supposedly off the wall answer: 42
For Hitchhiker fans, you know that the number has been the focus of Geek-speak and scrutiny around the globe for decades (books have been written concerning its significance, folks!). If you're not a Hitchhiker fan (which I'm sure encompasses about 96.3% of you reading this - lol!), I will leave you to your own internet searches as there's a TON of stuff out there regarding the significance or non-significance of 42!! Have fun!
