I think that sin is really when promises are broken when a covenant, whether public or private is broken, if all liaisons are multiple it really does make a mockery of the promise. That's all I believe is true, it breaks the definition of oneness. But apart from that, this a a beautiful example of a fine poem. Beautifully written, blessings Roy

This is a very well written piece of poetry in sonnet style. You have included the word "rendezvous" as per contest request and you have used it effectively. Very good use of alliteration throughout this lovely poem. Good luck.

As I've often said, when it comes to poetry, I wouldn't know a sonnet from sorbet. But thanks to you, your fine romantic poem will stick with me as a perfect example of what a sonnet should be. Thanks for sharing.

I regret it can only be a virtual 6 because this is an exceptionally well crafted sonnet which stirs the heart with its passion and sensuality. It skilfully evolves throughout the verse, ending with a strong and resonant rhyming couplet, perfectly fitting the brief of the contest. Well done and good luck! Debbie

This sonnet is a splendid example of the form, not only inasmuch as it conforms mathematically but more subtly in the way in which it develops through the stanzas to its conclusion in the couplet.

Ooooooo. Deliciously smooth and powerful at the same time. This is so beautifully described that it makes me think you dive into this pool and swim around as often as you can. A well-crafted sonnet that romantically bares your soul with loving words, heartfelt stanzas and overall truth. "And nothing life could give compares to this." Wow. Lucky woman, indeed.
Exceptional entry into this contest. You have my vote. Well done. Lynda

Beautiful. Moving and tender description of love and your sonnet was very appropriate for the contest requirements. I particularly liked the first stanza although of course I enjoyed it all. Sending best wishes for your entry.
