Emma is clearly gaining in maturity with her job offer, and yet her romantic attachment is still to-ing and fro-ing. I read carefully your note about the right sort of man, but I think it's time they opened up consistently to each other. kay

An excellent chapter that moves the story forward from the previous difficult, emotional situation that Emma had faced. I also like "today's quote." The ending was good, but came too soon!
I liked the lower key this chapter took. There has been so much emotion and difficult situations. Now healing takes place, first with Seth's arm. The scene in the restaurant was very good. I'm surprised Sally didn't know Emma was back. Seth and Emma have a good discussion as they sit in Seth's truck. It's a good thing they are talking about their relationship. I'm glad Emma clarified Seth shaking his head! It's also great that Emma got the teaching position. That will do a lot to boost her self confidence. Hope she's up for the task.

this was an interesting chapter. I wish the ex-boyfriend would take a hike, but I guess every good story needs a jerk to make life interesting. I would think the eight year age difference could present a few problems in the future, but I guess we'll wait and see. Congratulations on your All Time Best award.
