This is a well-written and cohesive tale, which nevertheless suffers from a lack of editorial skills. The dialogue flows naturally, but there is missing or incorrect punctuation in nearly every line that involves dialogue. It is distracting. There is also some unnecessary capitalization.
I do not generally critique harshly, being of the opinion that if you can't say something nice, it's better to say nothing. If writing is bad, I generally decline to review it at all. I am pointing these things out to you because the quality of your writing is NOT bad; in fact the writing itself is quite good... and very much at odds with the sloppy punctuation. On the bright side: punctuation's an easy fix.
Best of luck to you in the contest. So far, I'm planning on voting for your story simply because the quality of the writing is the best out of the current entries.

Sincerely, thank you for your review, it is the most helpful review I have had since I have joined. I don't have any formal training in creative writing, I very much want to take it more seriously, and this kind of review lets me know what to focus on, very much appreciated.

Very, very good. I liked your story very much. The story was enjoyable and informative. Well written and I think it'd make a wonderful tv show. I know I'd watch it. Good Luck!
