Your haiku beautifully captures the importance of oxygen. In just three lines, you painted a picture of the connection between humans and the air they breathe. The simplicity of the language adds to the poem's impact. I love how you ended it by emphasizing that it is oxygen that animates our existence.

Does it, does it really? Oxygen doesn't animate air in my mind. Oxygen is part of air 21%. I feel you could find a better word than animate which means move. What does oxygen actually do for us. I hope this makes you think, at least no need to change anything but have a think. Thank you.

    Thanks, Mark. I think the original, literal meaning of animate is to bring to life and that was the notion I was trying to convey. Oxygen is a basic requirement for the maintenance of life in all of God?s creatures. Best wishes.
