May we all be willing and ready to listen to the Lord's Word and may we receive His Word and bear fruit for Him! Thanks for sharing that parable with us in your nonet with that lovely picture!

A fine poem in the Nonet format about listening to God's Word with eagerness to please Him and obey, thus bearing fruit for Him. Well done, and well presented.

I live in Florida, and have been away for a week, struggling with the effects of Hurricane Milton. But I'm glad to return to FanStory and this beautiful butterfly and flower picture. The parable of the seed is one of the most important lessons in the New Testament. Seed that falls on good ground brings forth good fruit. Your poem expresses this principal very clearly. Thank you for the reminder.

God wants us to have Holy-Spirit directed hearing. Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Another fine poetic message and you still are providing us with such wonderful butterflies.

We should all recite this every morning. Be nice, even when it's not reciprocated, love one another even when someone is on your last nerve. Sometimes a smile is really hard to manage, but it could change the trajectory of another's day. Great poem. Gretchen

A nice Nonet, Patricia. The presentation is beautiful, with the lovely butterflies. Yes, we need to be that good, soft, absorbing soil that takes in all that God offers us. Then we can bear much fruit for Him. Great message! Blessings. Carol

I particularly like that parable that Jesus taught his disciples. It is not really very hard to understand if you stop and think about it. thank you for your review. Patricia.

It sounds like you enjoyed the guest pastor at your church this week. I like the comparison of a heart to the ground and how to get good things to grow within yourself. I found one smll typo I believe.

may it fall on good grout, (GROUND)?
Thanks for sharing

Thank you so much for pointing that out for me. I had not caught that and it indeed was supposed to be the word ground. I did change it. Seven minutes

Your nonet is perfect formed Patricia, being a good listener is rare these days as many people enjoy the sound of their own voice. I enjoyed your warm and caring words here, love Dolly x
