That's amazing that she bought your book, Carol. It can be fun chatting to someone who you don't know during a long journey, but I think the vibe has to be right. It sounds like you're having fun.

    Thank you, Barbara but I don't really know what I do from here as far as marketing. The KDP group that I worked with said it would be distributed around the world but then they stepped back and asked for more money ... I don't exactly trust people like that. I guess I just wait and see.

    Hello, dear Cecelia. Thank you for buying my book. I am honored. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did writing it. It was my first endeavor with a ghost detective and I didn't know at the time how much I would learn to love my characters, especially Eleanor. can't wait to hear what you think.

    Hmm. Wouldn't it have been nice to meet Clint Eastwood when he ws making the movie or any time for that matter. LOL I'm so pleased with all the feed back I've gotten. It's awesome.

James Patterson is my favorite writer too! He passed away at 88 about a month ago. I liked your little story about your marketing. I think he was the best crime and thriller writer God ever sent us. K xx

    We must be thinking of someone different. James Patterson was born in 1947 making him 77 years old. He wrote the Alex Cross thrillers and also the Women's Murder Club. As far as I know, he is alive. He's been my inspiration for my stories.

    Silly me! It was Wilbur Smith who died. I loved his Egyptian series. Have you read them?

I am so pleased life is good for you right now (for you have had so much to cope with over the years) - and also that you were able to sell her your book! Well done! Also, congratulations on writing another story while visiting your great-granddaughters. (Matthew's grandchildren?)

    Carissa was Wendy's first child and she has three girls, Keyanna, Tycari and Camryn which she has raised pretty much on her own...except for when Nana arrives on the scene. We are beyond close and I so wish they were closer. She wants me to come year round but i still have house and John to deal with. Life goes on!

Oh, you didn't have a copy to give her right then? Well, I guess, it feels better that she "bought" a copy and you got your first royalty payment! Good for you to market in person!!!

    I didn't even have my copy yet. It was published on Friday and this was Saturday. If I had one, I would have happily given it to her. I was thrilled.
