Your story made me smile with the twist at the end! Alma's journey toward inner peace was beautifully shared. Seeing him in saffron robes was such a unexpected moment. The ending left me curious and hopeful. So well written and such an enjoyable read.

I think you mean "arrayed". I'm pretty sure "arraigned" is a word associated with courts and trials. The story, apart from that, works well. It would make an interesting opening to a longer tale.

Hmm, interesting narrative tale. It does have a surprise ending for one of the main characters, since that character did not have the narrative, the readers were told. Eighty words stories are challenging. Good luck in the contest.
