The one thing I know about mutation, it's very rarely a good thing which science would assert, so it has to be a bad thing, it sort of defies evolution being true, because it takes a whole heap of cells to make a collective and positive decision, I think nature is running in the opposite direction of a positive outcome, so man being as he is, the trend will continue. This has creativity oozing out of every pour in the acrostic poem. You can turn this into a novel if you so choose to do it and do it soon before someone else comes along and steals the idea.

That is so cool, Lea. What a unique description of how this odd species came into being. Evidently there was some disastrous upheaval and massive destruction, but life always seems to find a way to survive, even if it's with a strange new species. I loved that picture too. Really neat poem!
