This is a great Christmas 5-7-5 poem. I like how the lights are strung on a dead tree. That just adds charm to the poem and the tree.

A poem that caught my attention, You speak of a dead tree festooned with prismatic lights. Which I imagine that we take our failed past and put glitter on the tree of future expectations.
