I can remember my Enid Blighten books when I was a boy growing up, she was a famous children's book author, writing about the famous five who were British high school children growing up and solving mysteries and drams, I loved them, now you have a grown up version, but American, well done, blessings Roy

Danni (you have her name spelled with a "y" in a few places) is a bit cruel as she teases Tango, who she knows is crazy about her although she is a ghost. If Mariam senses trouble, she is sure to be correct. You wisely give no hint of what it is. Dylan seems trapped between two very scary women.

Everyone in a Merry Christmas mood. And as the day grows closer, I'm sure it will only get more holly and jolly and festive as can be. Thanks for sharing.

Are you still going to Vegas or did you make other plans? I take off tomorrow morning. Already did instacart for groceries and everything my great granddaughters could possibly want ...spoil I say! Now I just need to get there and with Asti in hand wish them the very Merriest of Christmas's. And I shall wish you the same. .....

Another Christmas tale, this time with your familiar characters and of course your wonderful Eleanor who is taken back in time as she becomes nostalgic at the sight of her younger self. Your ending of course hints at further adventures as she and Charles dissolve "into shimmering light." We know that they will all meet again. Thank you for sharing this delightful Christmas reunion, Carol. Take care Debbie

I've written another one and also one for tomorrow morning before I leave for the plane. They all have clues in them for the story I will write in January. I hope it sets up a little intrigue. Thank you so much, Debbie. Have a wonderful Holiday season.

Carol, This is a very well written chapter. You used very good descriptive words and great dialogue. I look forward to reading more. We have our middle son and his wife coming in to town tomorrow evening. May be quite busy this week, but I will check on fan story when I can. love you dear friend! Teri

I can't wait to read more. I feel somethings brewing too.

The detective, her translucent form shimmering in the holiday lights, appeared alongside him. (doesn't make sense.)

"Troubles coming. I can feel it in my bones."

Far across the Atlantic, the snow fell heavily over the (need to indicate scene change, like you did earlier)

Charles stepped closer, his voice gentle. "I captured your strength. (gentle,)

The Inspector clinked (because of 'The' inspector has a lower case 'i')

Well my dear friend.
Another 6 for a couple of reasons, it may help you reach your goal so consider it a bit of a Christmas gift from across the pond. And also, as it was nice to see another foray into the life? Of Eleanor.
But, snow? England?
They must be north of the Thames LOL

Oh, lovely, another series with Eleanor and the other characters. There should be an interesting battle over Dylan, with two strong women vying for his attention. Will Eleanor step in? Of course she will! LOL. Blessings and merry Christmas. Carol

Your story has such a cozy atmosphere. It's full of charm and mystery! I loved how you brought the holiday spirit to life with the snowy streets and the lively market scenes - so warm. Tango's interaction with Danni had me smiling. And I could really feel the emotional weight he carries. The story builds so beautifully with just the right touch of suspense. Keep up the wonderful work!

Thanks so much, Michael. I couldn't end the year without sharing some time with Eleanor and the gang. I've tossed together about four stories where they are sharing Christmas Eve and buried a few hints about the new novel to begin in January. Thank you always for all your support and kindness. I wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
    Smiles, Carol
