This is a beautiful poem. Love the picture. Jesus is surely the hope for our world. I like where you said: Jesus is the centerpiece for the Christmas table. I hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Ciao!
There are lots of poem about Jesus but yours stands out for originality.
I love the opening phrase and in my mind, I picture a bright beam of light coming from the center of an oval table that embraces everyone.
I also love the phrase :
There is sweet fragrance in His presence
as He shares the joy of love.
Love the unique choice of words.

I like how you make Jesus the centerpiece of the Christmas celebration. So often today we get distracted by all the gift buying and the decorating that the world of commerce shoves in our face. I like the way you used the form to create a focal point, like the advent candle becomes a focal point on the table. estory

It seems like you have used centerpiece as a metaphor for Jesus being the center of our lives. Indeed He is the light of the world. Beautifully portrayed. The image fits your words so very well.

I like how you wrote a lovely poem to accompany this lovely picture. You make the metaphor without it being overdone: Jesus, like the candle, is light and sweet and central. I think you did really well with this poem. Merry Christmas!

Thanks so much for your review and comments. What a wonderful idea about God being the centerpiece at the Christmas table. The reference to fragrance is quite fitting, as we like candles because of their fragrance. Interesting format. judi

Amen! May we keep Jesus the center of each day. It's so easy to get distracted by the many things we moms have to do to prepare for the celebration and we forget the most important part is Jesus Who came to save us!

I actually like your poem without rhyme or meter. It speaks loudly of the true reason of the Christmas spirit, instead of the commercialism that blinds the world.

-Your notes are appreciated.
-You wrote a very good poem.
-Effective imagery and positive messages.
-Very good opening lines with the
comparison to "the centerpiece.
-You follow that well with how
Jesus "holds all things together."
-Very good closing lines with
images of joy and peace.
-Very well done.
